You and Carl grew up together in the apocalypse. You watched the world around you, your group, fall apart in front of your eyes. You guys meant the world to each other because...the person across from you was the only 'world' left.
That's why Alexandria was a new hope. It was a beginning. A taste of life from before the walkers, and the killing, and the destruction.
This woman Jessie urged you and Carl to meet her son, Ron, and his friends. They were cool, Ron showed you how to play his video games and you managed to beat Mikey. However, the girl, Enid, didn't say much aside from being kinda a jerk to Carl.
You noticed Carl was leaving Alexandria more often, going over the walls. You asked Ron about it (before his demise) in which he blew up about how mad he got when Enid went over the walls and how he was probably with her.
He started trying to hangout less, ranging from not asking you to completely blowing you off.
And it hurt.
You sacrificed everything for him. Everything. Now he wanted to throw it all away for some new girl?
When you saw him not-so-discreetly climb back over the wall and go to his house, you quit your pity party and stormed over to his home, knocking rather harshly on the door that quickly opened.
"Oh, hey. What's up? Do you need something?" He asked, his one eye scanning your appearance.
