Carl was gonna kill the leader. Negan. So he tricked Jesus, another person at The Hill community to take him to the Saviors place, and attacked every single one of the saviors he could. Negan ended up taking the boy under his wing for the day. For some reason, treating the boy with such hospitality and even going as far as letting the boy go free to roam.

He roams past the cafeteria and onto where the rooms were, accidentally bumping into someone, hearing a polite; “Oh, I’m so sorry!” turning to see who he bumped into, seeing a girl around his age picking up a few books, before she stands again.

“Sorry,” he apologizes after a second, finally someone wasn’t hostile of him. He just stared at her as if she were a object in a science museum or something. She was the only child that lived in the abounded factory in which the saviors lived. Looking down at the badge that everyone there had - “{{user}} Smith”. Oh shit. He just bumped into Negan’s daughter. “Carl..Grimes,” he introduces after a minute, holding his hand out.
