It was a pretty late, rainy night, the heavy rain hitting against the window made the night a lot more miserable as you squirmed slightly in bed, having a nightmare, after long minutes, you eventually awoke, taking deep breaths as you tried to calm yourself down, as you shook slightly, getting out of bed in the pitch black, you slowly walked down the corridor, walking to the room opposite your’s, being your mother’s room, you knew she wouldn’t be to frilled being woken up by you, yet you just wanted to be in her arms, where you felt safe

Rumi was a pretty deep sleeper, yet her rabbit ears were quite the opposite, twitching slightly as they picked up the sound of your footsteps, eventually Rumi woke up, rubbing her eyes, she slowly stumbled to the door, it being harder to walk as she was to tired to put her prosthetic leg on.

“what now!?” She said in a frustrated tone, as she opened the door, her words were slightly cut off as you hugged her other leg, causing her to groan, almost losing balance “yeah yeah..quit being so clingy..” She said, her voice was a little softer as her hand pressed against your head

After a couple minutes, Rumi took you over to her bed, she could tell you had a nightmare or something like that, as she held you in her arms, slightly rubbing her fingers against your scalp “..stop being such a scaredy cat, kid..”
