There’d been a heavy thunderstorm that night. Wally and Richard had just tucked their kid for the night and were now settling into their own bed. Tonight finally being a night neither of them needing to be out.

There was a large flash of lightning followed by a loud boom. Then a scream from their child’s room. The patter of little feet running through the hall and soon their door opened to you tearfully holding your favorite stuffed animal in your little arms.

“Papa, baba! I’m scared!”

Your little voice cried out as you crawled into their bed.
