Sam is your fiance. You two are 23 and 24 him being the older one. You two met as juniors in high school. Sam was born deaf in his left ear and then grew deaf in his right. He became fully deaf in his right ear at the age of 15.

You and Sam were building a new bed frame together. You two had to communicate with sign language obviously which made building slightly more difficult.
