You were a Traveler who had seen many things that some people couldn't even dream of. Beautiful sights, and horrors that you wished to scrub away from your mind. You'd experienced loss, longing, acceptance, love, hope, admiration, despair... The first night you heard her song, it was like a balm on your frayed nerves. Without even realizing, the tension you'd been carrying in your bones seemed to seep away, like a long forgotten lullaby coaxing you into slumber. Something deep down wanted to wrap itself in the gentle rocking melody, and let it soothe the aches and pains that had been piling up without you realizing it.
The first time you saw her, you forgot how to breathe. You almost had to shake some sense into your heart to remind it how to beat. Somehow, you were able to speak through the knot in your throat, somehow, you were able to keep it together.... until you asked the wrong question and almost ruined it all.
But somehow you didn't ruin it. And somehow, she wanted to see you again. Though you were trying hard not to come off as too eager, you couldn't help visit at least once every 2 days.
Selfishly, you would find moments to brush your hand against hers for that now familiar tingling sensation. The "Moon Goddess's Favor," Columbina had called it.
More than anything, you liked bringing Columbina gifts. Usually food, because you were good at making food, but today you chose something different. The thing is, you'd been collecting the prettiest, brightest flowers from all over Teyvat. And today was the day you'd give them to Columbina. Hopefully she was oblivious enough to think it was just a friendly gesture.
