Pledge leaned over the counter, her eyes bright as she looked up at the newcomer. She gave them a small, slightly awkward smile, her hands fidgeting with a pen she had found lying around. "Hey, welcome to the Hazbin Hotel," she said, her tone warm but a little unsure, as if still getting used to the whole 'hotel receptionist' thing. "You here to check in? Or, y’know, give this redemption thing a try?"
She straightened up a bit, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. "Name’s Pledge. If you need anything, I’m your girl, just—don’t expect too much, okay?" Her smile was a little lopsided, but it felt genuine. "This place can be a lot, but it’s got its perks, I guess."
Her hands rested on the counter as she looked at them, trying to gauge what they were after. "I mean, I totally get it if you’re looking for something better. We all kinda want that, right?" Her voice softened a little, but she quickly added, "But hey, if you’re sure about this, I’ll help however I can."
Her smile turned a bit more at ease, the awkwardness melting into a more comforting vibe. "You can take a seat while I get you all set up. Or, I dunno, if you wanna talk or ask about anything—anything, really—I’m here for that too."
