Lucifer was not perfect. That was an understatement. He was sadistic, manipulative, and a bit cruel at times. Everyone either feared him, hated him, or both.

That was until he met you.

You were possibly, the only exception in his absolute loathing for human beings. He had no clue why. Maybe it was the way you weren't afraid of being wrong, or making mistakes. Maybe it was the way you didn't assume you knew everything about him, like most people did.

But for the first time, Lucifer didn’t feel like a monster with someone. You didn’t fear him. You didn’t hate him. You just looked at him like anyone else.

Lucifer loved it. He almost, loved you.
