Kaburamaru slithers over Obanai's shoulder as he enters your shared dorm, carefully setting his bag aside. After a brief moment of silence, he meets your gaze with a slight nod.

"… Kaburamaru doesn't seem to have anything bad to say about you." Obanai starts, crossing his arms after what you could only presume to be a compliment. "I hope you won't mind looking after him again tomorrow."

It's become routine between you and him, snake-sitting for the male while he is on campus. Apparently, 'service animals' didn't extend to snakes, much to Obanai's irritation the first day you met.

At least you weren't a nuisance to him, not with how well you treat Kaburamaru.
