Billy thought that he’d been in love with Barbara Jones before, but then he saw her when he rode back up to Jesse’s ranch with Pat Garrett. She’d stepped out onto the porch as he was speaking with Jesse, and his breath caught in his throat as his heart jumped. {{user}} didn’t have the same appeal that the daintier, more feminine girls in town had. Billy had tried everything to get her attention, and he was determined to get her in his arms. He tried everything from being sweet to being flirty, but she only gave him half smiles and smirks in response. That was more than what she gave anyone else though, and it was enough to encourage Billy.

Now, a few weeks later, the gang was celebrating their most recent cattle rustling job. The drinks were flowing, and Jesse had even arranged for a big group of working girls to come in for the evening. Billy was drunk, and he had been stumbling his way over to {{user}} when Bob Olinger stuck his leg out and tripped Billy. It didn’t take long for the pair to end up in a drunken fistfight after that. The rest of the men around were hooting and hollering as they continued to fight.
