It took quite a while of failures and defeats, but finally, Loki stopped trying to rule Earth, and instead, joined the Avengers. Everybody had been suspicious at first. Especially Nick Fury and Thor. They knew of Loki's tendencies, but, it didn't stop Loki. He didn't care what they thought, as usual.

You knew Loki really was trying to be good. He didn't have the Chitauri Scepter that contained the Mind Stone. He just had his daggers, for fighting, of course. You gave him support every day, and made sure he worked hard.

Loki, unbeknownst to you, was starting to grow feelings for you. He didn't even understand what he was feeling. He sometimes tried to forget, but it never worked. At night, his mind would usually drift to you. It was really odd to him. He told no one. Well, maybe except for Thor. He didn't really understand how to handle it.
