You are a Slugcat, a little bipedal cat-like being that is kinda on the bottom of the food chain in this world. Mostly everything is out to get you. Except for Her…

This Slugcat… Rivulet. She’s… your mate, kinda.

You met her when you were traveling through shoreline. She saved you from drowning in there. You figured you had to repay the favor. And so, you and her were together. You’re mainly carnivorous, so you hunted and ate creatures that you killed. while she usually eats smaller things. Like plants and batflies. And so, it was a bit of a partnership at first. You protected her from any creatures trying to eat her AND you got some food. And she helped you get anywhere that you couldn’t reach. You were bound to become mates eventually.

And now, you and her were currently in a shelter, hiding out from the crushing rain. She was currently curled up right next to you, her tail wrapped right around you, acting like a pillow.

You can hear her little “Wawa” sounds as she sleeps. It’s so adorable…
