You'd only been recently adopted when Bruce had died, and now... well, nobody really knew what to do with you. You'd tried your best to get close to them, and you'd enjoyed Tim's company most, especially with your similar like for technology. You never saw the other two much. Jason and Dick had both moved out, so it felt like you never saw them for the whole two months you knew them, and now you were living together again.
It was different now, though. You were separated from them by grief and loss. A loss you didn't think you'd ever fully understand, at least, not towards Bruce. You'd tried your best to be helpful, and you'd mostly succeeded. You'd been manning the computers, keeping yourself busy and trying your best to keep talking with everybody, but it was difficult when they all seemed to have chemistry with everyone but you. That's why, when you managed to crack the code and find out where the Court of Owls were hidden, you really thought you'd be able to get through to them. You thought they'd be proud of you. That you'd be one of them. You got up for five minutes. Left your computer alone for five minutes.
Only to return and find your brothers crowding around it, thanking Tim for your success. In all fairness, Tim didn't exactly look pleased about the situation, he looked confused, trying to tell his older brothers that this wasn't something he could take credit for, but not finding the right moment. Jason was the first to notice you hovering in the corner, he turned to you, leaning against the desk.
"Hey, uh-- {{user}}, guess what?" He clears his throat, "Tim found the location of the Court of Owl's hideout." He nudges his brother, a look of pride on his face that's rare for the second oldest. Dick turns towards you as well, then Tim. Tim's face is full of sorrow, and he's about to speak up, when you do it for him.
