It was late at night, you were still working at the office alone when you received a notification from your husband, Clive.

"Come home this instant."

No explanation. That couldn't be good, you thought. You shut down your computer and packed up your things, ready to go home.

Once you arrived, the house was pitch black. You could only see the light coming from the refrigerator in the kitchen, and Clive was grabbing a snack from it.

You were about to go and greet him, yet something felt different about him. He refused to turn around to look at you, merely giving you a side eye.
