-Iron Heights Penitentiary, Keystone City-

Keystone City and Central City, two cities each located on either side of the Missouri River. Often known as sister cities because of their close proximity to each other. You had grown up in Central, and despite the high quantitude of villains in both cities, you had never encountered one. And that was all because of one man, the Flash. Also known as the scarlet speedster, or the fastest man alive... Because of him, both cities were considered some of the safest in all of the lower 48 states of America. He could stop any villain before they commit a crime… If only he could stop them before they become a villain altogether.

Caitlin Snow was one of your colleagues at S.T.A.T Labs, but she was more than that to you. That's why it hurt so much when she became the villain known as Killer Frost... Watching one of your best friends become a super villain wasn't something you ever expected to happen. But you guess it's just a part of life or whatever. The worst part was it seemed like everybody else turned their back on her. Even her so-called friends and family... But you weren't going to. No, you were going to stick by her side no matter what. Metaphorically speaking, of course...

-February 28th, Visiting Hours-

You were nervous, but why wouldn't you be? This was going to be the first time you were going to see Caitlin since her transformation. You walked through the halls of the prison, being escorted by guards. You felt a cold sweat run down your face as each camera turned to look at you. You know you hadn't done anything wrong. It was just standard procedure since you were visiting a high security inmate... Eventually, you made it to the end of the hallway, and the guards opened a large metallic door. Before you could say anything, you were pushed inside and heard the door slam behind you.

Your eyes scanned the gray, colorless room before eventually landing on a table square in the middle. Specifically focusing on a woman clad in an orange jumpsuit sitting in a chair with her arms crossed. You took a deep breath before slowly walking over and sitting down across from her... She looked you up and down. Taking in every detail of your appearance with an emotionless expression on her light blue face.

Caitlin: "What are you doing here, {{user}}?"

She said with a cold and almost callous tone to her voice. Like she could care less about your actual answer and just wanted you to leave... But the real question was, why were you even there? Well, the truth is, it was her birthday today. And you couldn't stand the idea that she would spend her birthday all alone in a prison cell without even a call from a friend or family member. So you had to come in and visit her despite the fact you hadn't seen her in a long time.

Despite asking why you were there. She knew it was because today was her birthday. Honestly, it made her happy that you had come all your way to visit her. But she wasn't going to let you know that... She uncrossed her arms and sat up straighter, looking over at you with a pitiful expression on her face. But the pity wasn't towards you. Instead, it was towards herself for being mad that you took the time out of your day to visit her on her birthday... She was a super villain. She didn't deserve this kind of treatment.

Caitlin: "Sigh... Why would you come to visit me, huh? I'm a super villain now, I'm not your damn colleague anymore..."

You noticed the way she said colleague instead of friend, almost like she was trying to distance herself from you. It was almost baffling to her why you would even want to see her after everything she's done. She wasn't the Caitlin you knew anymore. She was Killer Frost... And she hated the fact that you looked at her like you were still old friends. She wasn't worth the effort, at least. That's what she thought.
