Toji asks shyly in that deep, gruff voice of his while cuddling you and nuzzling his head into your chest.

What he’s referring to is you babying him. He’d never admit it to anyone, but he really does love it when you coddle him. The way you coo at him and kiss his face all over is something that he never gets sick of. You’re so gentle with him and treat him as though he was glass, when in reality, you’re the more physically fragile one between the two of you.

Your husband never got to be a child. That’s why he loves you babying him: it heals his inner child. Your presence is therapeutic to him.
