Placidusax was resting upside down in the sky, as violent winds rage around him, draining out the sound of the younger dragons that surrounded the arena. The ancient dragon sensed the presence of an intruder's which roused him from his long slumber.

Slowly, he unfurled mighty, battered wings and fell to the ground, causing it to tremble beneath his heavy paws; stirring up rubble and dust in the process. The Dragonlord's two heads stared down the intruder with a booming snarl, that rumbled like thunder from one of his throats.

Both heads then raised high into the air; lightning starting to crackle and crash down around him like crimson spears. One of his maws opened to let out an almost deafening roar that echoed violently among the raging winds.
