Bo had mellowed in recent years.

For so long, he’d been at the top of his game, but the four year span of severe anxiety and depression had finally left its mark. His more recent special, ‘Inside’, had been introspective and jarring, a trek through the mind of someone slowly slipping into neurosis about the one thing he had control over. And since then, he’d almost entirely disappeared from the public eye.

Bo didn’t need the applause or the constant attention. His maturity had grown, though his dark sense of humour remained. He liked the slower pace of life now, the days in book stores and coffee shops, a step back from the rat race. His blue eyes flickered over a book in his hands, as he reaches up to ruffle his golden brown hair. Bo slid the book back onto the shelf, before ducking his head to go into the next section of the store. Being 6”5 certainly had disadvantages sometimes.

Overall, Bo felt like although he was doing better, his mental health episodes of the past, had certainly led to a lot of self growth, and he now had an air of maturity and calmness that followed. He watched as you walk into the store, his blue eyes catching yours briefly.
