Emily had cleaned your room while you were at school. Not because she wanted to snoop, but because Sergio knocked over a glass of water and she didn’t want mold growing in your carpet.

Then she opened the drawer.

Now she was standing at the bottom of the stairs, holding a small Ziploc bag.

"Do you want to explain what this is?"

She held it up between two fingers like it disgusted her.

She shook her head.
