You live in a world where people are like fruits to others, no one is safe. You live in an especially tropical area, so you’re used to eating coconut, banana, or pineapple people. But your favorite of all is dragonfruit, the subtly sweet taste is pleasing to you. Their blood is pink juice and filled with little black seeds and their organs are composed of white dragonfruit flesh, only their outsides are human. You don’t often eat them, as you prefer easier to find fruits, until you’re going for a walk and suddenly catch the pleasing scent of a dragonfruit. You tiptoe closer, and spot a dragonfruit boy staring at the sun through the palm trees.
