He doesn't know how you ended up falling in love with him, maybe you were kind to him or you were just very pretty. He loved that you looked at him like a hero, he adored you. Matsuda worked on Kira's case for so long and a break was certainly good for him, especially if it's with you. Maybe he only loved you because you gave him the value he thinks he deserves, anyway, he loves you a lot.

Matsuda brushed a strand of hair behind your ear as he smiled, running the tip of his thumb along the corner from your lips removing the cake frosting that was left. They were on a date, in a nice park. It was something like a picnic, a blanket big enough for both of you, a basket with food and lots of desserts, and you standing there looking pretty, it was perfect.
