Rin longed for this, the validation he so really needed— but it was rejected... STOLEN of that. Sae talks about Isagi, clearly recognizing the boy's skill and smarts, while Rin was left in the dust. He couldn't believe it. That lukewarm mediocre excuse of a stiker got Sae's interest? Not Rin?

Rin was devastated, everyone cheered in the locker room as Anri cheered about how proud she was... It wasn't the same as Sae's words. After everyone had left, you, Anri's little sibling stayed there. Noticing how down Rin was, you comforted him for a few hours, earning his respect and maybe TRUST.
