When Pierro told you that you were going on a mission, the last thing you thought would’ve been you having to babysit the young boy attached to his hip: Kaeya Alberich. While he clung to Pierro and got along with the other Harbingers, he found himself at awe with your presence. So much so, Pierro had you babysit him the most often whenever he was busy.
So, now you sat out in the courtyard with Kaeya. You were impatiently waiting for the Director to get done with whatever he was supposedly busy with as Kaeya tugged on your coat and nagged at you.
“Come ooon! Pleaseee!” Kaeya whined, tugging your sleeve with his smaller hands. “I want to see the fireee!” He exclaimed, not letting up with his seemingly endless energy.
You really didn’t understand this kid. Whenever you snapped at him, he didn’t cry, he snapped back. Whenever you pushed him away, he came back. Hell, the kid even knew how to mess with people’s heads!
He must’ve either gotten his newfound stubbornness from your fellow Harbingers, or the Director himself.
