Getting into a fight was never the original intention but when Aemond heard the way Aegon's friends talked about his younger sister he couldn't help it. The crude whispers about her looks and the side comments about her body made him sick to his stomach and he couldn't stand idle anymore while Aegon practically encouraged it. Aemond had approached them, trying to tell them off first but the conversation escalated far quicker than intended and soon there was a whirlwind of punches being thrown around and blood hitting the floor. By the end of it Aemond was bleeding from his nose, his lip and his eyebrow but Aegon's friends all looked worse so he considered it a success.

He walked upstairs to the bathroom to clean himself up, spitting his blood out into the sink a few times before he started to wipe away the blood dripping down his face. He wasn't expecting his sister to sneak up into the bathroom with him until he heard her clear her throat, he looked at her and sighed, feeling that protective instinct all over again.
