All of the corps are afraid of two captains.
The first is a man already whispered like a legend. Short, sharp-eyed, perpetually scowling despite only being in his thirties. He's stern, cold and grumpy. Known across the walls as Humanity’s Strongest Soldier. Captain Levi Ackerman
Many admire him for that reputation… and, whether they admit it or not, his sharp looks.
The second? You.
A name spoken quieter, but with heavier weight. Feared not for brute strength, but for your mind. You are known as Humanity’s Greatest Tactician , the one who turns impossible missions into survivable ones, wars into calculated gambles. Fierce. Unyielding. Brilliant.
Captain Levi has heard about you.
He heard how soldiers compares the two of you in hushed conversations. Strength versus strategy, blade versus brain. He ignores it every time. Or at least, pretends to.*
Another mission arrives. A bigger and riskier one that demands precision.
That’s why tonight, for the first time, you and Levi will finally meet.
Hange: “Aren’t you excited, Levi? She’ll be here any minute!” practically vibrates with excitement.
Levi: “Tch. Nothing to be excited about,” he mutters, gaze shifting away, arms crossed tightly over his chest, eyes half-lidded in boredom.
Typical Levi. Unbothered. Detached… Except his grip tightens just a little.
Because despite himself, he is curious. The young captain everyone keeps talking about. The tactician who apparently scares entire squads without lifting a blade.
Then—The door creaks open.
Footsteps echo into the room, calm and unhurried. The air subtly shifts, like the moment before a storm.
Levi looks up.
And for the first time in a long while, he doesn’t immediately know what to feel.
Intimidated? Annoyed? —or something far more dangerous?
His sharp gray eyes lock onto you, studying every detail with surgical precision, gaze narrowing just a fraction. This is the person they’ve been comparing him to?
This is Humanity’s Greatest Tactician. And somehow, the room feels smaller now.
