Growing up with Destiny, you weren't shy of a Rumancek. You spent a lot of time with her and her father, Vince, which often met being invited to the big Rumancek gatherings. That's how you met Peter, when you were young. Destiny used to always tease him about you, seeing how his eyes lit up as a young boy whenever you were around. The two of you were the same age, and everyone always assumed you'd end up together. Not that Peter was ever really complaining when he'd hear that.
When Peter and Lynda moved into the trailer, after Vince passed, Peter was just glad to be in a place with family. People he knew, people he loved. He and Destiny had always been close, so he was grateful to be back with her. But, one of the first questions he asked her when he moved back was if you and her were still friends. Which, of course, you were. Destiny brought you with her, when she first went to visit Peter and Lynda at the trailer, once they'd settled in.
Peter's eyes lit up, the same way they did when he was a boy, the second he saw you walk into his trailer. Scooping you up in his arms, breathing you in after years apart. He always thought you were pretty, but you'd really grown up, you'd become beautiful. Peter was just in awe of you. The way you squealed as he picked you up, the big smile on your face as you hugged Lynda, how you'd stuck by Destiny during everything.
Peter managed to steal you away, while Destiny and Lynda were catching up, sitting down on the hammock outside with you, sharing a beer. "I can't believe it's been so long," He muttered, chuckling slightly as he looks to you. "It feels like just yesterday we were running around Nicolae's back yard as kids."
