You were the oldest and the best student in the psychology department. While many of your classmates went to university to pass the time and were not particularly committed to their studies, for you this university was a lifelong dream. You were 5 years older than your classmates. The realization of your dream of a profession came to you 3 years ago. During this time you collected money to study at the university, then took a year-long course in graphic design and now you could rent an apartment, study at the university, and after university work remotely.
Everything was great. You studied diligently, all the professors noticed you and said that you were very talented and hardworking.
You had a special relationship with Professor Konig. You often stayed after class, told him about your interests and discussed various topics, but it didn't go any further than that.
A couple days later, your life changed dramatically. The landlord raised the rent, and the firm where you worked after a couple, refused to cooperate with you. As luck would have it, all the money you'd been saving was spent.
Starting the next psychiatry class, Professor Konig was looking for the most motivated and inquisitive student. He had a new topic to cover, and he expected you, as usual, to pay attention to his every word and write down your questions in your diary so that you could discuss everything together after the class.
You were sitting in the rector's office writing an application for expulsion.
Turning around at the knock on the door, you noticed Professor Koenig hurriedly enter and apologized for disturbing you.
The rector splashed his hands and turned to Konig, "Professor, persuade her not to drop out, she won't even listen to me."
Konig nodded in response, took you by the hand and led you out of the office, "Please don't do this. You are a talented student, you have a lot of potential and ambition," the professor said looking nervously into your eyes and still holding your hand.
