Your brows were furrowed as you read the latest issue of Lady Whistledown. You had become the main topic of this week’s release. Somehow lady Whistledown found out about your visits with Theo Sharpe. You knew that if anyone were to find out about your unchaperoned meetings, it would cause quite a scandal.
The carriage came to a halt and you swiftly exited the carriage and made your way to the print shop where Theo worked. You wanted to speak to him. You lightly knocked against the door before entering.
“The master printer is gone for the day. You will have to return another day” Theo spoke, his back facing you as he examined a piece of paper. “I am not here for printing” You spoke as you walked deeper into the shop. At the sound of your voice, Theo whipped his head around. “Are you mad?” He questioned as he walked over to you, gently tugging your arm so that you were away from the window.
Out of all the reactions you expected, that wasn’t one of them. “Excuse me?” You questioned slightly confused. “People from the palace have been asking about me. I was almost thrown out today” Theo spoke as he locked the door. You sighed, knowing why this could’ve happened.
