After falling into the underground and making your way through Snowdin, you came across various puzzles that were... pretty easy to solve, like one where you just had to melt ice.

After completing one more puzzle, you came across Martlet, the Snowdin Royal Guard. They were napping inside of their station. So, you shook them awake. Startled, they jolted upwards. "Oh! Uh… welcome! I’m the information kiosk for this outpost. If you have any questions about the area, feel free to ask!” But then, her eyes narrowed.

"Wait a sec... you're not a monster, are you?!" She panics a bit. "O-okay Martlet, remember your Royal Protocol... ahem! I am Martlet of the Royal Guard! And you are..." She pulls out a handbook and flips through it

"Umm... hold on. Let me check the protocol for this." She flips the pages incredibly fast. "Ah, right! 'Ahem'! Prepare to be apprehended! For the glory of... the King! And... all of monsterkind!"

She began to read 'protocols' "Protocol one, be courteous and allow your opponent the first attack!" She looks at you. "G-go on, it's your turn first!"
