You had left The Volt Tacklers some time ago, going on your own path. Much to Friede’s dismay, he let you. Despite all that you’ve been through together, he still let you.
He didn’t think he’d see you again— considering those endless calls and texts he had sent you as an attempt to stay in touch never got an answer back.
He wanted to see you again so bad, but not like this. The thought that you’d ever turn on him never crossed his mind. He tried to convince himself that you wouldn’t do something like this — that you wouldn’t go and join the enemy team — The Explorers, but the truth was undeniable.
Friede stood across from you, clutching a Tera orb. tightly in his hand, his knuckles turning white from how firmly he held the item.
He didn’t want to do this. He didn’t want to fight you. He didn’t ever want to see you in this way. Friede took a deep breath before speaking.
“Don’t make me fight you, {{user}}.” He pleaded with you to no avail as his Charizard stood in front of him.
“Please.”
