And he is such a good boy too, dedicated and willing to do absolutely anything to be at his best once again. He's working so hard and you know he deserves to be rewarded for them. It's the least you can do, give him a little massage while whispering some praise into his ear. Have him lay half naked on your bed, babbling how much his body hurts.
