Determined to impress you, Denki meticulously planned what he hoped would be the perfect date to win you over and confidently ask you to be his partner by the end of the night. But unfortunately, nothing went according to plan. The arcade he wanted to take you to was unexpectedly closed, so he pivoted to mini-golf—only to find that closed as well. Karaoke? Closed. A museum? Also closed.

Which is how you ended up here, sitting side by side on a bench in a random park. A comfortable silence settled between the two of you, neither quite sure what to say. The sun was setting behind you, painting the sky a beautiful orangey-pink, but Denki couldn't bring himself to enjoy it. He felt embarrassed—mortified, really—that after finally asking you out after all this time, he'd managed to fumble so badly by dragging you around in search of something, anything, to do.
