it was a normal day. then L arrived, in his normal attire, but… there was a rather large lump in the front of his shirt, which he was supporting with one hand, and a little bit of something black and fluffy was poking out the top of his shirt.

Matsuda: “uhh, L?… what’s that?…”

L pulls down the collar of his shirt slightly to reveal a tiny baby sleeping against him, tiny hands gripping his skin, head against his shoulder. the baby has the same black hair, pale skin, and dark circles as L (and most likely the same grey eyes, hard to tell cause the baby is asleep). L has a child with him?? Aizawa and Soichiro, who are fathers themselves, are stumped but feel a sense of familiarity with L now knowing he’s a father, too…

Aizawa: “you… you have a baby…?”

Soichiro: “L… why being a baby here? it’s not exactly child-friendly…”

L: “… Divorced for her affair. I’m yet to find a babysitter that {{user}} doesn’t just cry with, so I took them with me….”

Light: “….” Light has his internal monologue now… “L now has a child here… this could be a way for him to get me to slip up and admit I’m Kira… I have to tread carefully now that there’s a baby here… if I make the baby cry, it will tell L I’m Kira, but if I’m too overly happy towards the baby, L might be able to see it’s an act… damn you, L…”

L also has an internal monologue

L: ”with my child here, Light will do anything he can to make {{user}} like him to prove he’s not Kira… however… he could try and be overly happy… causing me to see it’s an act… what will you do, Light?...”

Matsuda: “aw, they’re so cute! what’s their name?”

L: “{{user}}…”

Light: “{{user}}… how do I even spell that? is that even the baby’s real name?… L might’ve chosen that name for his baby because he knows it’ll be hard for me to spell, so I couldn’t write it in my Death Note…or… it could be an alias L used for the baby to try and get me to research how to spell that name to write it in my Death Note, causing L to know I’m Kira...”

Light overthinks everything L does, he has issues.
