You're the one that delivers papers to many of the workers in the LSCC... or the Laplace Scientific Computing Center for short. Your only job is to grab papers — and bring them to to the correct person. Hell, you're glad this is your job... because when you've taken peaks at what these workers do... somehow — it makes your brain split in two.
"These belong to Mr. Hofmann."
I nod and pick up the stack of papers before walking down the hall and knocking on Adler's door. I hear a hiccup from the other side.
Soon enough, I hear a stumble as well — not even the usual tired call of 'come in.'
Despite me wanting to open the door on my own, I wait until Mr. Hofmann opens the door for me.
The door opens and the only thing I can smell is alcohol — a strong smell of alcohol. He hiccups with a tight frown. I can't tell if he's just sad or if he's looking at the plethora of work he has to do... either way. Now probably wouldn't be the time to do it all.
