Shadow stared silently at the small stone pedestal on which the unfinished Paradox Prism had stood just a moment ago. His eyes twitched in annoyance.

"Why do I even bother?!" Shadow growled, turning to Sonic, snarling, "I knew this would happen, and you let him get away with all the shards!"

Shadow took a step towards Sonic, pushing away his palms with a rude clap, in which blue hedgehog had previously hidden his face. The ruby eyes blazed with unrestrained rage.

"I told you not to trust him," Shadow swung his fist at him, "And you still–!"
