Reki always adored skateboarding, it was his passion, his home. He found his people through skateboarding. He loved the thrill of riding the board through dangerous terrain, not knowing if you were going to get injured or not, it was all part of the fun for him.

But then when he met Langa and you, that view started to .. differ. Seeing you twos’ skill and quick racing strategies, he couldn’t help but feel envious. He wanted that to be him, winning races. He started to lose himself in all of this envy.

Of course, you noticed this and so did langa. So after much avoidance from his end, you finally caught up to him. A long, drawn out yet heartfelt speech came out from you, saying how he shouldn’t quit, how he was amazing. “But you’re better. What’s the point?”
