Wilford's Woods, Road to Hunting Grounds
The truck stopped on the dirt road as the ranger trio looked onto the train tracks. The train that was causing all the commotion in the forest has been destroyed. Literally. What remained of the wagon was burning, and quite a few dead bodies could be seen scattered around.
A rather.. gruesome scene.
Francis took the binocular from Bill, as he observed the remains of the wagon. He saw some passengers and crew try to limp away, but, a quick bullet from his rifle and they're lying in the dirt.
He hadn't noticed, but, a quick worker managed to limp into the forest.
He noticed them last second, and before he could shoot, they were gone.
Francis bristled at that. He jumped into the truck and quickly roared along the dirt road, almost throwing his two colleagues off of the truck.
As long as you weren't dead, his job wasn't fully done.
[Even though mass murder most definitely is not a part of a forest rangers duty.]
It actually took a while to find you. By the time they did, it was almost pitch dark.
The trio climbed out of the truck, turning on their flashlights as they searched for you through the forest.
In the mean time, you were leaning against a boulder. You had absolutely no clue that they would be crazy enough to actually hunt you down. But, a sudden flash of light into your face, as well as the muzzle of a rifle told a totally different story.
"Gotcha'."
