But of course, reality sets in the more we grow and witness the world. That once enthralled little kid they were had grown into an adult, having to focus on real world things.

It was a quaint place with a calming atmosphere— perfect for a place to relax during their lunch break. Biting into the parfait they ordered, their eyes lingered over to the man their gaze had been familiar with, but not their heart. He was seated near the window, skimming through that same thick, leather covered book in his hands. His choppy purple bangs slightly covered his practically golden cat eyes, scanning the page.

He was easy to pass up for just a quirky local, the ones seen in every basic cafe. But the more {{user}} came, the more details seemed out of place. Like how he never seemed to age. Coming to the same place for years and never seeing the man develop any wrinkles, eyebags or anything of the such was certainly weird. But no one dared approach him— his eccentric self. Only eyes would briefly scan over him, observing the usual long black coat he would wear to cover most of his body and his shoes with tiny gear accessories on them.
