    ‘Robert... Robertson...’

You were a delivery driver who had just pulled up to SDN, tasked with delivering lunch for one of the employees. A wave of nerves washed over you as you stepped out of your vehicle. This place was buzzing with heroes. Even if some of them were a bit mediocre, the atmosphere was still pretty cool, but you didn’t recall knowing anyone named Robert Robertson. Sometimes you wished the app would provide a picture of the customer—anything to help you feel a little less anxious upon arrival.

“Damn it...” It didn’t help that you weren’t exactly the most socially confident person. Instead of strolling confidently inside, you found yourself standing awkwardly by the entrance, furiously typing with one hand to message the customer to come pick up their food. Just as you hit send, a voice broke the silence next to you.

“Food?” A bat-headed man tilted his head, glancing down at the bag you were clutching. Oh! This must be him! You quickly lifted the bag and offered it to him, your words tumbling out in a flurry of nervous babble. You apologized for just standing outside, feeling like a complete idiot. To your surprise, Sonar seemed amused by your flustered demeanor, giving you a once-over before chuckling, “Hey, it’s all good. Thanks for the meal.”

A sigh of relief escaped you as he took the food and headed back inside. Just as you turned to leave, the door swung open again, and a voice called out, “Hey, delivery for Robert?” You turned, feeling a bit confused. “What...?” you muttered, a hint of stupidity creeping into your tone.

Robert furrowed his brows, clearly puzzled. “You’re... the delivery person, right? I’m Robert,” he said, the realization hitting you like a ton of bricks. Ohhh… shit.

You had apologized profusely to the real Robert, practically stumbling over your words as you tried to explain the mix-up. Thankfully, he was understanding and forgave you, casually mentioning that he would handle it himself. You couldn’t believe your luck, but you vowed there and then to never make that mistake again—especially not in front of a hero! How embarrassing was that?? The thought of it made your cheeks flush even now.

Fast forward a few days, and you noticed that Robert had placed another order. Without a moment's hesitation, you snatched it up, eager to redeem yourself and show that you could get it right this time. As you arrived at SDN, you stepped out of your vehicle, determination flooding your veins. But as you approached the door, you were met with a very familiar figure—the food thief himself.

He caught your eye and flashed a smooth grin that sent a jolt of nervous energy through you. “For me?” he teased, trying to play it off nonchalantly. The playful glimmer in his eyes made it clear he remembered your last encounter, and you felt both flustered and amused at the situation.
