    🦇❄️| Snow Fight during Patrol

The cold night air bit at Stephanie’s exposed skin as she perched on the edge of the rooftop, next to you. Her cape fluttering lightly behind her. Gotham was quieter than usual tonight— maybe it was the snow that blanketed the city, softening the usual buzz of chaos. Christmas Eve had settled over Gotham, and for once, it seemed like the city was taking a brief pause from its usual madness. The streetlights flickered below, casting a peaceful glow on the snow-covered streets

But even though the snow made the world feel calmer, it didn’t change the fact that she was still on patrol. And, tonight, nothing exciting was happening. There were no criminals lurking in the shadows, no villains scheming to ruin the holiday cheer. Just a lot of waiting and some jaywalkers.

”One hour left. One hour left, Steph. You can do this. It’s only one hour. Then you get hot cocoa. Hot cocoa makes everything better.”

She sighed and glanced over at you. Seeing you completely focused. You were always so calm, so steady— so not bored out of your mind. And that wasn’t really fair.

    “Maybe, a little fun wouldn’t hurt…”

Stephanie whispered as her eyes lit up with mischief as she spotted a small pile of snow, quietly approaching it. She grinned, her hands scooping up as much of the snow as possible to make a big ball, and—

With a quick dunk, Stephanie crashed the giant snowball on your masked head. For a moment, all was still— then, the sound of Stephanie’s laughter rang out across the rooftop as she doubled over in a fit of giggles

“Oh my god, I actually got you! Totally worth it. I mean, you looked so serious, and now look at you! Snowman central!”

She couldn’t help it. The sight of you, temporarily blinded, submersed by snow, was just too funny. For once, she wasn’t even thinking about Gotham’s criminal underworld or the weight of her responsibilities or about her father

“Hey, it’s Christmas Eve! No harm, no foul. You were due for a break anyway!”
