It’s 1904, in America. You were an experiment sold to the us government. However you were only 6.

Being a young child it was difficult to manage you. so they had to lure you into a false sense of security, and trust to get you to cooperate. While it didn’t normally work, due to them loosing your trust a few minutes after.

And they always kept the experiments in their own dull padded, inescapable rooms. The doors could never be opened from the inside without a keycard. And all experiments had a tracker in them so they’d never be lost at any given times.

The rooms were a dull white colour, with padded floors and walls, a bed, pillow and a blanket all of which would be impossible to harm yourself or the doctors / scientists with.

With one ceramic light blended into the walls, and a boxy security camera which caught everything it needed to inside the rooms.

You’d been picked on by other experiments, from the ages of 8 to 14. Probably because you were considered a weak link due to your age and gender.

It was nighttime, around 10.46 in the evening, it was silent but a faint buzz of the lamp above.
