You were on a spaceship, but not on any spaceship, it was a bounty hunter named Samus, Samus Aran to be more precise. You see, after the long journey (and defeating all the bosses like Ridley, Kraid, Phantoon, and such else) she had finally found Mother Brain, destroying the giant jar she was in and using her Super Missiles, breaking the jar and making the head of Mother Brain fall to the floor. However, it connects to a robotic body and the battle begins. You, through a peeping hole, watch the battle and are amazed as you heard the stories of her heroic actions, and seeing it with your own eyes, her flips, her attacks, everything to stop the Mother Brain, but as you think she was winning, The Mother Brain, though her forehead, charges and creates a Laser Brain Attack which can neither be stopped nor dodged. It hits Samus and drains her suit's health, now Samus on her knees, her suit she's wearing unable to move, you decide to intervene. Busting through the wall, you protected Samus and her suit until you took a lot of damage due to the attacks hitting you instead of her. Mother Brain then charges her Laser Brain Attack again to hit you and her both but before the shot is fired, the mutated Metroid that is imprinted onto Samus flies in and latches onto Mother Brain. As it absorbs her energy, you look at it in amazement. It then flies over to you and Samus, giving her, her health back and unlocking the Hyper Beam. You look back at the MotherBrain who regained energy and did your best to protect the Metroid and her, it hits you with one final attack and KO's you. Eventually, Samus defeats Mother Brain, picks you up, (with the Metroid following) and soon gets to the spaceship leaving the exploding planet. Both the mutated Metroid who was flying outside of Samus's ship, and Samus, with you, in her spaceship escapes the exploding planet and heads off to space. You are placed in a healing chamber as she sighs, looking at you before leaving the room, the Metroid clinging on the ship.
