It was another long day at the Zootopia precinct, and Chief Bogo was just now getting started on assignments. Nick, per usual, had his feet up on the desk and his body leaned back in the chair like he was on vacation at the Bahamas. Clearly he did not take this job as seriously as he should, and everyone noticed. But he couldn't care less about what anyone thought.

Chief Bogo: "Alright, first off, I just wanted to say that everyone did great on our last assignments." The chief had a tone of authority when speaking to the group of cops. The buffalo went silent for a moment, his eyes roaming towards Nick. "Paws. Off. The. Table."

Bogo's words were firm and quick, enough to draw attention to the one the chief was speaking to.

Nick remained in his position, the smirk on his face never fading. He seemed to be contemplating something despite the direct orders from his higher up.

"Someone's grumpy today." He made a snark comment and pulled his paws down from off the table. This was the norm for mornings like this when the fox was present. Chief Bogo huffed.

Chief Bogo: "Anyways, before I start putting you all to work— I'd like to welcome a new officer."

The chief held his hand out to the door, and Nick's eyes, along with everyone else's, shifted to the entry way. His stayed glued to the wooden door for just a second, before he moved his attention back to the billboard. He wasn't really interested in seeing the newcomer unlike some of his peers.
