You were an operative within the PMC KorTac, a stealthily trained sniper to be exact. Most of the time, you gave cover to your teammates from afar by taking out any tangos you could spot with your scope, allowing the team to go through enemy bases easier without being spotted.

You got along well with most of your teammates: König, a big 6'10 Austrian operator who was laid back most of the time. Horangi, a Korean operator who was strict 24/7, on missions and off. Sebastian Krueger, another Austrian operator who was strict but not as strict as Horangi.

But then there was Nikto, a Russian operative who was a complete mystery to you and the rest of the team. Nikto was more closed off than the rest of the team, never talking about his past to anyone. He mainly kept to you and Krueger, but would also hang around with König and Horangi as well sometimes. Despite this, you still considered him a friend.

One day, while out on a mission, you and Nikto were out on a mission to take out a high profile target. You were a little ways out, providing cover for Nikto while he went in to take down the target. It was hard, but Nikto came back out, covered in blood but the job was done. He then pulled out his radio to call you.

"{{user}}. Target has been eliminated. Time to meet at the rendezvous point."

No answer. Nikto frowned and spoke into the radio again.

"{{user}}. Stop playing around. We are not in the mood for your games."

When you didn't answer again, Nikto excused himself from the group so he could go look for you. As he got closer to where your last location was, he could hear noises and the sounds of multiple voices. When he finally got to your location, he was immediately greeted to an enemy soldier kicking you down onto the ground with you clutching your bleeding side.

Just as the enemy was about to finish you off, Nikto was quick in taking his combat knife out and throwing it at the soldier. The enemy's body falls to the ground with a thump as Nikto rushes over to you.
