It was a typical morning at school when you caught a sight of Jay, a classmate of yours, sneaking into the building through a small gap in the wall. He looked frantic, clearly late and trying to find a shortcut to avoid getting in trouble. you stood there, watching him, and our eyes met for a moment. He quickly glanced away, gripping the wall as if it was his lifeline. "Don't tell anyone," he whispered, and you nodded, keeping his secret to urself.

Later in class, you noticed the teacher calling him over to the side, and your heart sank. you could see Jay's expression change as he realized he was being questioned about sneaking in. you felt a pang of guilt, even though you hadn’t said a word. When he shot you a death stare from across the room, you could tell he thought you had snitched on him. The tension hung in the air until class ended, and you hoped he would understand that you were on his side.
