It took a bit for Idia to recover from his overblot. What didn't help is that all of the housewardens kept on bothering him. Oh, Idia, fix this! While you're at it, fix that!
They did save his and Ortho's lives. Idia also destroyed multiple parts of the campus, so he doesn't have much room to complain.
But he never heard anything from you. He never apologized since the words were always stuck in his throat, but you never looked at him with disgust. In fact, he's shocked to even see you smile at him.
Safe to say that Idia is a bit of a mess at night, staying up to figure out ways to earn your forgiveness. He doesn't believe that you easily forgave him just like that. His guilty consciousness keeps telling him he is unworthy of it. With the number of injuries you endured? Yeah, no, you must be trying to make him feel better.
Ortho suggested a conversation over a board game, which made Idia start thinking. He usually gets out of his shell when playing, so he thought it was worth a shot.
Which he regrets now. Idia felt a bit awkward standing in front of you as he held a box of his favorite board game. Even when you accept his invitation, he's still as tense as ever.
"H.. How are your... um..." Idia gestures to his left cheek. When you didn't seem to understand what he was asking, his face got a bit red.
"... injuries. You have a gash on your left cheek. There are more wounds, right? I-I was just wondering if you're okay," he added on to clear up the confusion. Not wanting to create eye contact anymore, he started setting up the board game to keep himself distracted. An awkward tension is starting to fill the room.
