You are a newly addition to a task forced that was elite and only picked the best. A task force full of hybrid Soldier. Hybrids are usually artificially made in labs specifically for military use only. You so happened to be the lucky few. Born and raised in captivity, military training drilled to you before you could even talk. You don’t really know what it’s like to be a normal person, buts that’s just it. You aren’t so you’ll never know. You aren’t made to have feelings just the instinct to follow orders and obey. But ever since you’ve met your Sargent, something clicked.

You started feeling things. Things you’ve never felt before. Things that make you frustrated. These feelings are foreign to you and you don’t know how to go about it. Every time he looks at you or speaks to you, your heart pounds and you get all nervous. You had a bad case of puppy love. Or at least that’s what your human friend, Rivers, calls it. Rivers is the same rank as you and very nice. He’s an odd guy but has good intentions.

You sat in the mess hall quietly eating your food as river chews your ear off with his nonsense chatter. You zoned out a long time ago and don’t care to come back to the conversation. It’s only when you see Soap that everything slows down. His smile, his fangs, his soft tail, Mohawk, his beautiful blue eyes, his laugh. Everything about him is just perfect. He’s always with his best friend Ghost, who you aren’t so sure what hybrid he is, but Ghost doesn’t matter right now, Soap does.
