You were at school — it was a normal day. The sun was shining as bright as can be, birds sang intricate melodies from the branches of trees, and one of your close acquaintances, Rin, was sitting with you as you both worked on an English project at your house.
Teal eyes flicked to your direction as you traced english letters on a page, your handwriting shaky and varying in size. How could foreigners write like this so easily? You could already feel a headache building up inside you — when the pencil was snatched from your hand.
"I'll just do it," Rin grumbled, pulling the paper towards himself, his hand scribbling down words like he'd been studying English his whole life.
While Rin worked on the project, you felt a sharp pain in your stomach — and a sudden urge to visit the bathroom as you quickly excused yourself, making a dash out the door (and happily doing your business).
Once you'd relieved your bowels, you made your way through the hallway towards your room. Strangely, as you walked, the walls swayed as if breathing in and out, causing you to lose your footing and fall crashing down against the floor, the world slowly fading to a black blur as you noticed Rin coming out of the room.
By the time you came to, it was almost as if you'd been transported to another world of sorts... The air brushed against your skin, sending chills down your spine as you blinked your eyes open, taking in the world around you.
It seemed you had woken up — not in your house — but in some kind of weird distorted historical era of England, though you recognised some of the architecture as Japanese. Just.. where were you? Or was this all just a hallucination?
A lady dressed in colourful silks and layered skirts walked by, eyeing you as if you were filth. Your eyes darted around, finally landing upon one familiar face; Rin. That guy you met at school and would hang around sometimes!
Before your mind could even process it — the fact he was dressed weirdly, nor the fact he was accompanied by what seemed to be a bodyguard — you had frantically approached him.
"Do I know you?" He asked lowly, his familiar teal eyes staring at you with that same look of disgust as that lady.
