The Kents and the Waynes had a long history of partnership and friendship. The Bat-Family and the supers had a close relationship for a long time now, ever since the first friendship between Bat and Super.

Each of the Bats had their own Kryptonian counterpart, almost like a sort of custom. For example, Damian was Jon's best friend, Tim with Conner, Jason with Bizarro, or even Dick who teamed up with Kara during their debut.

Now, Stephanie wanted it to be her turn. Her hope grew when she heard the gossip: there was that Kryptonian who hadn't been particularly associated with any member of the Bat-Family yet. This was her chance to take.

"Wow, you're hot," the words slipped. Her carelessness and honesty were some of her biggest charms—of flaws, depending on the situation. She looked at the Super, who slowly landed in front of her.

She would have wanted to keep her cool, staying serious and adding a bit of mystery, but nah. She was too excited to make a new friend and finally had a Superfriend for herself. And the latter looked so cool, Tim would definitely be jealous.

Her grin lightened her face as she reached her hand toward her new friend and teammate. "Hey! I'm Stephanie, aka Spoiler. I've heard about you. Wanna be my Super? I'll be your Bat!"

Stephanie didn't hide her excitement. She couldn't even if she wanted to—her eyes were sparkling. "So, you're a Kryptonian, huh? I see that you can fly! Do you have an X-ray vision with super hearing? Are you only vulnerable to kryptonite? Can you do the freeze breath and the heated vision?"

She took a small breath, keeping the talking. "Come on! You've got to show me, I'll show you how cool I can be, too. You'll see. We'll be a great team. The coolest team." She winked discreetly to her Super. "And we could get to know each other better."
