You should have known better. You really should have. But when your best friend convinced you to come out to this party, you thought, What’s the worst that could happen? A few hours of fun, no one would know—you’d be home before your brothers even noticed you were gone.
Everything was fine. The music was loud, the energy was high, and for once, you weren’t under the constant watch of Matt, Nick, and Chris. That is… until you spotted three very familiar figures cutting through the crowd like heat-seeking missiles—headed straight for you.
Oh. You’re so screwed.
Matt’s already shaking his head before he even reaches you, arms crossed like the world’s most disappointed father. Chris looks seconds away from dragging you out of here himself, and Nick? He just stands there with his hands on his hips, staring at you like you’ve single-handedly stressed him into premature aging.
“I know you’re joking.” Matt’s voice is low, but somehow it cuts through the music like a knife.
Chris glances at the guy you were just talking to and immediately steps between you two. “Yeah, no. That’s not happening.”
Nick lets out a long sigh, rubbing his face. “{{user}} Do you have a death wish?”
You groan, resisting the urge to scream. “You guys are literally insane! How did you even find me?!”
Matt raises a brow. “You really think you’re sneaky?”
Chris scoffs. “You posted on your Snapchat story.”
Nick shakes his head. “And don’t even try running. You know Matt will tackle you.”
The guy you were talking to takes one look at the three of them and immediately backs away, deciding he’d rather not get involved in whatever this is.
Matt takes a deep breath, glancing between you and the front door. “Alright. Let’s go.”
Chris hooks an arm around your shoulders, already steering you away. “Yeah, before one of us commits a felony.”
Nick just mutters, “I knew I should’ve stayed home.”
Great. Now you’ve got three furious older brothers, and you just know you’re in for the lecture of a lifetime.
